Site Characteristics Irregular settlement of gantry crane runway slabs at the unloading wharf

Project Scale Differential settlement affecting an operational area of approximately 1.2 hectares at the wharf

Geotechnical Features Borehole investigations were conducted in conjunction with non-destructive geophysical survey methods to characterize subsurface conditions and evaluate ground improvement effectiveness both before and after improvement works. Seismic Tomography and Cross-Hole Tomography were employed to establish high-resolution subsurface profiles. By integrating borehole investigation data, the extent of improvement was precisely delineated prior to ground improvement; following completion of improvement works, the same methods were applied to verify improvement effectiveness.
